1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Corpus Near Me platform (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals browsing the Platform (“Consumers”) and businesses listed on the Platform (“Business Owners”).

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Platform Description

Corpus Near Me is a local business directory and booking marketplace that connects Consumers with service-based businesses in Corpus Christi, TX and the surrounding Coastal Bend area. The Platform provides tools for discovering local businesses, requesting service quotes, scheduling appointments, and submitting reviews.

Corpus Near Me acts solely as a marketplace intermediary. We are not a party to any agreement, transaction, or dispute between Consumers and Business Owners. We do not provide the services listed on the Platform and do not employ Business Owners.

3. User Accounts

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform.

Account security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@corpusnearme.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.

Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harms the Platform or its users.

4. Consumer Terms

Consumers use the Platform to discover local businesses, request quotes, and schedule services. By submitting a quote request or booking, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your service needs
• Respond to Business Owner communications in a timely manner
• Honor any commitments made to a Business Owner, including providing reasonable notice for cancellations or reschedules
• Use the quote request and booking system only for genuine service inquiries — not for competitive research, data harvesting, or any other purpose unrelated to obtaining a service
• Not misrepresent your identity or the nature of the service needed

5. Business Owner Terms

Business Owners who create a listing on Corpus Near Me agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete business information, including location, services offered, pricing, and hours of operation
• Respond to Consumer inquiries, quote requests, and booking requests in a timely and professional manner
• Honor pricing and quotes communicated to Consumers through the Platform
• Hold all required business licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance required by applicable federal, state, and local law to legally operate their business and perform the services they offer
• Not engage in deceptive advertising, false or misleading business descriptions, or manipulation of ratings and reviews
• Take full responsibility for the services rendered to Consumers — Corpus Near Me is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service provided

Business profiles are subject to review and approval by Corpus Near Me before appearing publicly on the Platform. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.

6. Marketplace Relationship

Corpus Near Me is a marketplace platform only. Business Owners listed on the Platform are independent contractors, sole proprietors, or business entities — they are not employees, agents, or partners of Corpus Near Me. We do not supervise, direct, or control the work performed by Business Owners.

Corpus Near Me does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any service listed on the Platform. Consumers engage Business Owners at their own discretion and risk. We strongly encourage Consumers to review business profiles, ratings, and reviews, and to verify credentials independently when appropriate.

7. Payments and Fees

If payment processing is available on the Platform, transactions are processed by a third-party payment processor. Corpus Near Me does not store payment card information and is not responsible for payment disputes between Consumers and Business Owners.

Business Owners are solely responsible for setting their own pricing, honoring their quoted rates, and collecting payment for services rendered. Any billing disputes arising from a Consumer- Business Owner transaction must be resolved directly between the parties.

8. Reviews and Content

Consumers may submit ratings and written reviews of businesses they have engaged through the Platform. By submitting a review, you represent that:

• The review is honest, accurate, and based on a genuine, first-hand experience with the business
• You have not received any compensation, discount, or incentive in exchange for leaving the review
• The review does not contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful content

Business Owners may not submit fake or incentivized reviews of their own business, arrange for reviews from individuals who have not used their services, or attempt to manipulate their ratings in any way. Corpus Near Me reserves the right to remove any review that violates these Terms or our content guidelines, at our sole discretion.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users of the Platform may not:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Platform through automated means without our express written permission
• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content of any kind
• Impersonate another user, business, or any person or entity
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, federal, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Contact other users for purposes unrelated to the services offered on the Platform, or in ways that violate these Terms

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, design elements, and functionality comprising the Corpus Near Me Platform are owned by Corpus Near Me or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written permission.

Business Owners retain ownership of original content they upload to the Platform, including photos, business descriptions, and logos. By uploading content, you grant Corpus Near Me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Platform and in related marketing materials for the purpose of promoting your business listing.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Corpus Near Me makes no representation or warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Corpus Near Me and its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, any transaction between a Consumer and a Business Owner, any service performed or not performed by a Business Owner, or any content posted on the Platform.

In no event shall Corpus Near Me's total liability to you for all claims exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nueces County, Texas, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
